Affiliate Disclosure

Some links earn us a commission.

Here's exactly how that works, in plain language. No legalese.

Last updated June 12, 2026

The short version

As an Amazon Associate, Reggie's List earns from qualifying purchases.

When you click a product link on Reggie's List that points to Amazon and then buy something, Amazon pays us a small referral commission. The price you pay is exactly the same either way — the commission comes out of Amazon's pocket, not yours.

Which links are affiliate links

Wishlist items on Reggie's List link out to the store pages where they were saved from. When that store is Amazon, we add our Amazon Associates referral tag to the outbound link. That applies to product links on:

  • Your own wishlist and wishlist detail pages.
  • Friends' wishlists on the Discover page.
  • Public profiles and shared wishlist pages.

Links to stores other than Amazon are passed through untouched. We currently participate in one affiliate program: the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

What this does NOT change

  • Your price. Affiliate links never cost you anything extra. Amazon charges the same price whether you arrive through our link or type the URL yourself.
  • What appears on wishlists. Every item on a wishlist was saved there by a real person — you, a friend, or a household member. We don't insert products, sponsor placements, or reorder items based on commission.
  • Gift claiming. Claims, statuses, and the recipient-blind surprise mechanics work identically whether or not a link is affiliate-tagged.
  • Your privacy. The referral tag rides in the link itself. We don't send Amazon anything about you, and what Amazon collects on its own site is governed by Amazon's privacy policy. See our own privacy policy for what we collect.

Why we do this

Reggie's List is free, with no ads and no selling of your data. Affiliate commissions help cover hosting and development costs so it can stay that way.
